We use Square as our booking system for all Blushing Curls Hair Services. Immediately after requesting an appointment, you receive a text/email saying your appointment is reserved as PENDING and under review. This will allow our team to confirm availability for the date/time requested. Days PRIOR to your appointment you will receive text/email appointment reminders. Failure to respond to the confirmation message with in 24 hours of receiving will cause your appointment to be canceled.
All first time appointments must be secured with a credit card and 50% of the overall service total as a retainer/deposit through our Square booking system. The retainer/deposit will be credited towards your final service total at checkout. Retainers/Deposits are not transferable and non-refundable. We do not "hold" retainers/deposits.
After successfully booking your appointment you should receive a confirmation text and/or email with your appointment details. You may also cancel and reschedule your appointment through this messaging system up to 24 hours BEFORE the appointment. Please review the Cancellation Policy. If you cannot find the automated email then please check your spam or promotions folder. It helps to add us (info@blushartistrytx.com) to your email contact list.
Please call, text or email the Blush Artistry Salon Team at: 832-850-6138, or info@blushartistrytx.com. Cancelations, changes or reschedules MAY NOT be made via DM. You may cancel or modify your appointment without charge anytime PRECEDING/BEFORE 24 hours PRECEDING/BEFORE the start time of your appointment. Cancellations LESS THAN 24 hours notice will result in a charge of 50% of your total services.
Maintenance Cuts/Trims: Every 3 months or as needed
Haircuts: Every 6 months or as needed
Clarifying Treatments: Once a month
Hair Detox: As needed
Deep Conditioning Treatment: Every 4 months for short hair | Every 6 months for long hair
Olaplex Treatment: Once a month (if highly damaged)
For all Curly Hair Services, ARRIVE WITH HAIR FULLY PREPPED. Please arrive with clean, dry, fully detangled curls with minimal-to-no product. (1-2 day hair should be fine.) NO OILS OR BUTTERS; MAY USE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER. Arriving with tangles may be subject to a detangling fee. Please refrain from using any ponytails, headbands, clips, or hats. DO NOT pull hair back in tie or clips so that your curls are not stretched out, as this could greatly affect the outcome of the curly haircut, especially if you experience shrinkage. Failure to overlook these preparation guidelines may result in having to reschedule and charged 100% of service.
This will really depend on each individual. A Curly Cut is best for guests that mostly wear their hair curly, wavy, etc. Depending on your individual curl patterns, when your hair is straightened after a curly cut, it may not appear to be precisely blended; just as cutting it wet or straight may not appear blended well when wearing it curly. With that said, several of our clients have straightened their hair after a Curly Cut, and it still looks amazing! You will want to express to your stylist how you want to wear your hair most of the time, and that will allow your stylist to customize your Blushing Curls Haircut accordingly.
Textured hair is unique in curl pattern and is rarely uniform. Traditional wet haircutting may leave the client's hair uneven, or shorter than anticipated. Dry cutting allows our stylists to determine where each client's curls fall naturally, and can customize them to the desired shape and style.
We do not offer refunds. Due to the time and materials that go into your service, Blush Artistry does not offer refunds for any Blushing Curls Salon Services offered. It is extremely important to our team that you are fully satisfied, and in the event you are dissatisfied with the Blushing Curls services received, our team will make complimentary adjustments within (7) days of a service, pending management approval.
